Welcome to the future of robotics at kennewick high school

OUR MISSION
OUR MISSION
Hi, we’re Lion’s Byte Robotics.
We are a student-led robotics club out of Kennewick High School that is focused on spreading STEM throughout the Tri-Cities, especially our surrounding community. We also always prioritizing and fostering a culture of creativity and problem-solving through our participation in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). Our main focus as a team is building a robot and competing in the FRC, but in the off-season, we work on building our skills and teaching the members of our club valuable engineering skills. Our goal is to give kids the opportunities to grow their skills and learn from their mistakes guided by the support of our mentors and fellow club members.
When we’re outside of the lab, we connect with the community through presentations, teaching lessons at local schools, and volunteering with other STEM organizations.
You can learn all about our program below, thanks for checking us out!

Interested in mentoring?
Interested in mentoring?
Lions’ Byte is always looking for experienced and caring mentors! Do you have a career in STEM? Are you interested in helping kids in the community? Mentoring might be a great opportunity for you!
Our flourishing marketing program works right beside our robot program to ensure our team image is impeccable and we are involved with our community. Our marketing team is responsible for managing things like our website, social media, official logos/artwork, and managing our plans for winning awards at competitions.
Through our marketing and outreach programs, we are dedicated to creating opportunities for people of all ages to become involved in STEM, regardless of their experience level. By introducing kids to engineering from a young age, they can discover their passions in STEM and get a head start on building their skills. Robotics and engineering are cool! While our journey as a team has taken us across the country, our mission has always remained the same, to give back to our community.
